BUYING
By placing an order with us you acknowledge having read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, then you should contact us at privateoffice@thefailedbanker.com before placing your order.
We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. All contracts are concluded in English.
Please check your spam mailbox for confirmation emails, sometimes they take the wrong turn and end up in there!
We recommend that customers have their orders shipped to an address that they trust or have sole access to. In situations where the item has been signed for but the customer has not received the item, it is the customer's responsibility to find the item, not THEFAILEDBANKER. We will NOT replace items that have been lost or stolen upon delivery.
In a situation where the tracking number is showing that the order has been delivered but you have not received the item, please let us know as soon as possible.
If the customer chooses to have their order shipped to a shared address such as a business or university, it is the customers responsibility to ensure the parcel is signed for by the customer. If this is signed for a third party or another name/person at the delivery address, it is up to the customer to investigate. As per our couriers’ policy, we cannot claim for an item that has been signed for at the delivery address.
PRICES
All prices on thefailedbanker.com are given in British Pounds Sterling (£). Please note THEFAILEDBANKER has no control over any customs or import duties that could be levied when the package reaches your destination country and for which you will be liable.
You must pay by Credit/Debit card or Paypal at the time of the order. The price of any product is the price in force at the date and time of your order. We may change the price of any product before you place an order. We will inform you if a product’s correct price is higher than that stated in your order and you may cancel the order.
AVAILABILITY
All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.
DELIVERY
UK
Our standard deliveries are sent via Royal Mail 48.
For Next Day Deliveries we use Royal Mail 24 service. Royal Mail AIM to deliver the item within 24 hours of them receiving it.
Orders are expected to get to you within 3-5 working days of your order being despatched. We aim to despatch all orders within 2-3 days from the order date.
Please note that working days do not include Weekends or Bank Holidays. As we use a signed for service, please choose an address with persons present during the day.

NEXT DAY DELIVERY
Order before 1pm the day before for a 24 hour service. If you order after 1pm, then your order will be dispatched the next working day.
Our 24 hour delivery service is not available on weekends.
Order before 1pm on Friday to receive your order on Monday. If you order after 1pm on Friday, your order will be dispatched on Monday for delivery on Tuesday.
EU/REST OF WORLD
Please understand that there may be some delays due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19 in certain countries and that we are trying our hardest to make sure all orders arrive promptly.
We post all International Deliveries via DHL International Tracked service. It can take up to 48 hours to process and prepare an items for international delivery.
Please note that International orders will take up to 5-10 working days, however items can be held up at customs for an additional 7-14 days.
Please note that DHL can ship express to most EU countries overnight so there may be an additional 1 day added to your package.
CUSTOMS AND DUTIES
Please note that recipients outside the EU will be responsible for any IMPORT DUTIES, CLEARANCE FEES or BROKERAGE fees including any other additional charges. We operate on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis.
Sometimes goods may be subject to delays, due to customs or weather. The customer is responsible for providing any information required by customs to ensure the goods are cleared.
We recommend you contact your local customs authority to determine a landed cost price prior to purchase completion.
RETURNS
Products must be returned in their original packaging within 30 days of receiving the order. To find out how to return, please send an email to privateoffice@thefailedbanker.com
EXCHANGES
Subject to stock availability, we will exchange items that are returned to us within 30 days of being received by you. Please advise us upon receipt of your purchase if you wish to exchange. The subsequent exchange item will be returned to you free of charge.
Should you choose to send an item back using a tracked service, this must be arranged and paid for by the customer.
FAULTY ITEMS
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES
Returns of faulty clothing & accessory items will only be accepted if the goods were faulty when delivered to you. We at THEFAILEDBANKER take every effort to check your purchase thoroughly for any faults before sending them out to you. All items returned as faulty will be inspected on receipt and any items deemed subject to fair wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty.
We will replace a faulty item if a replacement is in stock and available. If you wish to be sent a replacement, please make your request clear when contacting us at privateoffice@thefailedbanker.com about the fault. Returns of faulty goods must be returned to us within the time limit of being received by you.
In case we cannot offer you a replacement, you will have the choice of receiving a credit note or a refund to your card or Paypal account to the value of the item at the time of purchase. Please note that refunds onto Paypal can take up to 30 days and are subject to Paypal refund regulations.
ACCURACY OF CONTENT
We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of publication. However, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you. Orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the materials on this website. We shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this website.
